The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has renewed Deschutes Water & Sewer Utility's designation as an Outstanding Water Performer for the year of 2021.
This designation is based on an on-site review of:
- Water sources
- Treatment
- Storage facilities
- Distribution systems
- Maintenance procedures
This designation was given after we completed a water system survey to evaluate our utility's capability of providing safe water to our customers.
